Andy tagged me…on the weekend…and, for that, he’s coming straight off my Christmas Card list.  Anyways, here’s 5 things you didn’t know about me:

1)  I’m the guy behind the guy you see in a lot of those Internet deal flow stories.  That’s my elbow in the picture.  Go watch Jerry Maguire if you missed the joke here.

2)  I track my cars and generally treat them in a manner that most people equate it to child abuse.  Passionate racecar engineers like Enzo Ferrari and Dr. Ferdinand Porsche did not build road cars for people to put them in museums or to hog the best valet spots at trendy restaurants.  They built them to be driven to within an inch of their lives.  While I’m very passionate about this, it has been known to incite road rage in other people on the road who didn’t get the memo about it being my personal racetrack.  See SMG Racing for more upcoming car jackassery.

3)  I have a 4 year old German Shepherd.  Single best purchase I ever made.  She’s my kid and my wingman.  They are such an intelligent and loyal breed that any time you invest in working with them comes back to you a millionfold.  I would literally step on my own mother’s neck to go save her if we were all in a burning building.

4)  I lost my best friend and mentor to a plane crash in 2003.  I talk to him and God everyday, assuming they are sitting next to each other making fun of chicks at the Big In & Out In the Sky.  PMUM gave me the tools to get where I am today and I’m eternally grateful.

5)  I heart former AOL executives.  Jeremy Liew just joined our Board of Directors at Tippit and he seems like one of the good guys who gets it, so hopefully he can change my perception of that alumni of retards.

Bonus:

6)  Digg is my new favorite game.
