Matt Drudge: Google Stock Pumper? » »

« « Paying It Forward With Microsoft’s LinkFromDomain

I have been a very loyal Internet Explorer user since 1997 or so.  I use Firefox for work stuff but when it’s just me browsing, for some reason I have always been tight with IE.

So, I installed the IE7 beta release four or five months ago and loved it.  It did not give me a single problem.  Then I upgraded (well, it was mandatory) to the final release candidate this week and all I can say is, “Helloooooo, Firefox.”

IE7 has been crashing on me regularly since I updated.  By “regularly”, I mean “every five minutes.”  And by “crashing”, I mean “like Tom Cruise’s career” crashing.  Any time a link launches into a new window rather than a tab, Crash City.

Looks like Danny had some fun with the IE7 Upgrade, too.  I’m going to give it one uninstall/reinstall and if that doesn’t cure it, I won’t touch IE until IE8.
